What if my internet connection goes down?

I’ve used VoIP before, it was a poor quality.
Technology in this field has progressed immensely in recent years, this now allows superb call quality which is often commented on by our clients as being better than a standard analogue line.

I already use Skype, it’s the same thing isn’t it?
It’s the same principle but Skype won’t offer you features such as number spoofing, Least Cost Routing, Voicemail/Fax-to-Email and many others that make VosTel such a fantastic business tool.

I have a Skype handset, why is your system better?
Skype is great but it doesn’t offer a seamless business integration (see above), VosTel can replace your existing system (handsets, desk-phone consoles etc) and you don’t have to have your computer running to use the phone! Would you really want to run your telephony via a USB connected handset to a computer that has to be turned on for your phone to work?

I don’t want to be in a contract
VosTel will never tie you into a long contract, some service providers may stipulate 12, 18 or 24 month contracts, we operate on a ONE month contract...we want customers to use us because they want to, not because they have to.

Is your telephony solution reliable?
Yes! We run our entire business on internet telephony, as do most of our customers many of which are businesses with a significant turnover. A good example is a trade distribution company with 12 UK based branches and a turnover in excess of £30m, VosTel handle all their telephony requirements as well as integrating some of their top customers into their telephony solution package.

I work from home a lot, can you help?
Definately! We can offer you all the functionality of the office at home...transfer calls to and from colleagues, work number presentation when dialing outbound, access phone books, remote use of a cross-platform softphone (smartphone, laptop or desktop), time-of-day routing, conference calls and many more features besides.

I want phones that look good
We can source a wide variety of hardware, however we prefer to use manufacturers such as Gigaset, Snom and Yealink as these are proven to be reliable as well as offering stylish and modern units.

What if I move premises?
No problem, pending on what system you are running will depend on the solution. As the VosTel system is internet based and not ‘hard-wired’ then it is really a case of un-plug it and plug it back in to your new ADSL connection elsewhere, and that’s all there is to it.

I am wary of internet telephony as I don’t understand how it works
Go to our How It Works page where we explain it in easy to understand terminology, the basics are really not that technical. Try it, with our one month contract what have you got to lose?
